Continuous Improvement
Help us improve! We take continuous improvement very seriously, and we want you to know what we do as a result of your feedback
Your learning experience should be positive and of a high quality, so you can gain the skills and knowledge to progress and aspire to achieve. We will ensure our continuous improvement through analysing the data and your feedback through regular quality improvement meetings. Staff from across the company attend these meetings, including Tutors, Trainers, Assessors, and Senior Managers.

If you are currently working with us, as an Employer or a Learner, and are interested in attending one of these meetings, please contact Lisa Hammond - RTT Group Quality Director at lisa.hammond@rttg.co.uk, or via our online enquiry form.

What learners/apprentices say needs improvement (what you said) at RTT Group

We needed to improve how we ensure learners are signed up to the relevant apprenticeship programme, this is according to feedback and management information we hold. We needed to ensure that the apprenticeship programme fulfils and progresses learners onto their short and long term goals. Doing this would ensure a good apprentice retention rate and employer/learner/apprenticeship satisfaction.

What we did

Following feedback from learners, employers and staff, we have initiated a new learner and employer engagement structure to develop opportunities and provide advice and guidance to employers seeking an apprentice, and to candidates who may be keen on an apprenticeship placement. Employer Engagement Consultants are in constant communication with employers to explain the benefits of apprenticeships and agree vacancy criteria. Learner Engagement Consultants liaise with youth stakeholders and encourage candidates to apply via our online registration process for available vacancies, providing support with job ready skills, interview techniques and CV writing along the way. We have a centralised vacancy matching team who conduct thorough screening and suitability assessments, as well as information advice and guidance to candidates.

Learners are now enrolled by a vocationally competent assessor in the workplace rather than employer engagement staff, as we believe that assessors are better equipped with necessary knowledge and occupational competence to ensure employed apprentices are on the most relevant and beneficial programme along with the correct level of support to achieve completion of the award.

What learners say is good

Learners/apprentices say that Assessors are really helpful and supportive.

What employers say needs improvement (What you said) at RTT Group

Employers require apprentices who are better prepared for work (see above for new process)

What employers say is good

RTTG work with us to identify what skill gaps a learner/apprentice/employee may have, they work with us to ensure the learner is better skilled for the job he/she is doing through compiling a suitable learning programme within the Apprenticeship.
